Susan AI Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

By opening Susan AI or using any Susan AI companion chat you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the service.

2. Who may use Susan AI

You must be at least eighteen years old, or older where local law sets a higher age of majority, and legally able to enter into this agreement.

3. Nature of the service

Susan AI provides fictional conversational companions for entertainment and companionship. Companions are characters, not real people, and messages are generated content.

4. No professional advice

Nothing said by a Susan AI companion is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Consult a qualified professional for anything that matters.

5. Emergencies

Susan AI is not a crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number or a recognised helpline immediately.

6. Account registration

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you register and for keeping your sign-in credentials private. Tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.

7. One account per person

Accounts are personal. Do not share, sell or transfer your Susan AI account, and do not create multiple accounts to bypass limits.

8. Acceptable use

Use Susan AI lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to make companions produce illegal material or content involving minors, coercion or real identifiable individuals.

9. Prohibited conduct

You may not scrape the service, reverse engineer it, bypass rate limits, resell access, run automated clients or interfere with other members’ use of Susan AI.

10. Security testing

Do not probe, scan or stress-test our systems without written permission. Report anything you find responsibly instead of exploiting it.

11. Your content

You keep ownership of the text you write. You grant Susan AI a licence to store and process it strictly to operate the chat and to maintain conversation continuity.

12. Generated content

Replies, images and voice notes produced by a Susan AI companion are provided for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

13. Our intellectual property

The Susan AI name, branding, interface, character designs, copy and code belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

14. Feedback

If you send suggestions we may use them without obligation or payment, and you keep no claim over the resulting improvements.

15. Free and paid features

Some Susan AI features are free while others require credits or a subscription. What is included in each tier is shown before you pay.

16. Billing

Paid plans are charged in advance through our payment processor. By purchasing you authorise the charge shown at checkout, including applicable taxes.

17. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Renewal prices are the prices published at that time.

18. Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.

19. Refunds

Credits already consumed are not refundable. Where mandatory consumer law grants a refund right, that right applies and overrides this clause.

20. Price changes

We may change prices for future periods. Existing subscribers are told before a new price applies to their renewal.

21. Fair usage

To keep Susan AI responsive for everyone we apply reasonable limits on message volume and media requests. Persistent abuse of those limits may lead to restriction.

22. Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates and third-party failures can cause downtime.

23. Service changes

Features may be added, altered or withdrawn as Susan AI develops. Where a change materially reduces what you paid for, we will tell you.

24. Third party destinations

Some Susan AI buttons lead to partner sites. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content or terms.

25. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, harms other members or exposes us to legal risk. Serious breaches may result in immediate closure.

26. Your right to leave

You may stop using Susan AI at any time and request deletion of your account and conversation history.

27. Disclaimer of warranties

Susan AI is provided as it is and as available. We make no promise that a companion’s replies will be accurate, appropriate for a given purpose or free of error.

28. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

29. Indemnity

You agree to cover reasonable losses we suffer because you used Susan AI unlawfully or in breach of these terms.

30. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including outages, natural events and legal orders.

31. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Susan AI Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

32. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without limiting mandatory protections available where you live. We ask you to contact support first so most issues can be settled without formal proceedings.

33. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date on this page when we do. Continuing to use Susan AI after an update means you accept the revised terms.

34. Entire agreement and contact

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Susan AI. Questions can be sent to support@susanai.org.
